LAHORE – Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry claimed on Wednesday that Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were on the wrong side of history.
He made these remarks while appearing in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) for a case filed against him.
He stated the cabinet meeting would discuss banning the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and that anyone who supports Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari will be unable to survive in politics in the future.
Speaking of PTI founder Imran Khan, he stated that Imran Khan’s 14-month illegal incarceration achieved nothing for the government because people voted for his party despite the fact that the PTI did not have a party symbol for the polls.
He urged the administration against widespread human rights violations, which may lead to chaos. “The world is watching everything happening in Pakistan where even court orders are brushed under the carpet,” according to him.
The former minister emphasized the need to strengthen the judiciary, saying that individuals should obey court rulings.
He also chastised individuals who were criticising the armed services from abroad, warning that it would do them no good.
“The PTI is not spreading digital terrorism because it is being carried out by anti-Pakistan activists. We must bring stability to Pakistan, which cannot be done without Imran Khan,” he said.
