ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that August 12 will be marked as World Youth Day with fervor and excitement.
The decision was made in light of Pakistan’s javelin star Arshad Nadeem’s historic performance in the Paris Olympics 2024, when he won gold.
According to sources, Rana Mashhood, the head of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, has been tasked with making plans for the occasion.

They stated that the administration would also reveal the National Youth Policy in light of this magnificent triumph.
Arshad Nadeem, a Pakistani hero and Olympic gold medal winner, is expected to attend this historic ceremony.
Arrangements will also be made for job-hunting stalls from both domestic and foreign investor companies.

Arshad Nadeem, a javelin thrower from Pakistan, not only won a gold medal but also rewrote history with a throw of 92.97 meters, a new Olympic record.
This marks the first time a Pakistani has won an Olympic gold medal as an individual.
