Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, never stops surprising his admirers with new insights.
During his visit on “The Anupam Kher’s Show,” Shah Rukh Khan revealed a startling piece of personal history.
King Khan revealed that his mother’s grandmother, Nani, had given him the name Abdul Rahman at first.
“I don’t know anyone but my maternal grandmother had named me Abdul Rehman in childhood,” SRK said in response to Anupam Kher’s question on if he knew anyone named Abdul Rahman.
Although the name was unregistered, she insisted that I accept Abdul Rahman as her name.
“I had an odd feeling. Just picture Abdul Rahman in Baazigar. It would not sound pleasant. It sounds better with Shah Rukh Khan in and as Baazigar,” he remarked.
