ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts dry weather for the majority of the country and cold weather in the upper areas over the next 24 hours.
However, isolated areas in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan might expect mild rain, wind, and thunder, as well as snowfall over the hills.
The synoptic condition indicated that a westerly wave was affecting the upper and central parts of the country.
higher Sindh, northern Balochistan, central and southern Punjab, higher Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan all had rain-wind/thunderstorms with snow on the mountains in the recent 24 hours.
