Vishwak Sen asks film industry to support Gaami; alleges low ratings on BookMyShow by bots

At a press conference in Tirupathi, Vishwak Sen claimed that the film’s poor reviews on BookMyShow were caused by bots.

Director Vidyadhar Kagita and actors Vishwak Sen and Chandini Chowdary had a press conference in Tirupathi to discuss their latest film, Gaami. Vishwak’s words to the press drew everyone’s attention. Vishwak Sen requests the film industry’s cooperation.

Vishwak came to Instagram a few days ago, claiming that the film was receiving negative reviews and low ratings from the ticketing platform BookMyShow due to bots.

He brought up the subject again at the press conference, saying, “I have to thank everyone who supported our film. It exceeded our expectations because we took a risk that paid off. However, we are experiencing troubles on BookMyShow, where bots are spamming the page and giving us bad ratings. It is understandable if people do not support the film, but this is not acceptable. I don’t know who is doing it, and I don’t have the time to worry about it right now.”

He also urged the film industry to back Gaami and show their support. Without naming names, he expressed his wish that film industry executives would see the film and support it. He stated, “Maa cinema ki kuda oka naluguru pedda manushulu vachi chusi matladte bauntundi.” I understand Telugu film. (I hope that individuals in the film industry view and promote our film. “It’s our Telugu film.”

Chandini Chowdary takes offence

After Vishwak and Vidyadhar spoke to the media, it was Chandini’s turn. When the media asked her no questions, she smirked cynically and stated, “Obviously, no one asks questions to actresses. You always have questions for actors and directors, but not for heroines. “I’ve seen this for years.”

When a member of the media approached her and inquired about her experience working at Gaami, she responded, “There’s no need to make anything up and ask on the spot. I had a positive time shooting for the film. It was challenging, but I enjoyed acting in the picture.”
