RAWALPINDI –Pakistan and the United States have reaffirmed the importance of improving training contacts between CENTCOM and the Pakistan Army.
On Thursday, US CENTCOM Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir met at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi to express their resolve.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the conference focused on shared objectives, notably collaboration in regional security problems.
Both sides examined the possibilities for collaborative training.
The visiting dignitary commended and appreciated the Pakistan Army’s victories in the battle against terrorism, as well as Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability to the region.
