Gujranwala – An anti-terrorism court in Gujranwala on Tuesday filed charges against three people accused of attacking PTI founder Imran Khan in Wazirabad during the lengthy march.
A judge from Gujranwala’s anti-terrorism court presided over the hearing on the Wazirabad incident. During the hearing, the charges were read to the defendant in court.
The key suspects indicted are Naveed, Waqas, and Tayyab Butt. The three accused, however, have pleaded not guilty.
The judge deferred the matter until May 25.
It should be noted that Naveed, the primary accused, is believed to have fired on Imran Khan, while the other two accused, Waqas and Tayyab Butt, aided him by giving weaponry.
