LAHORE -Severe storms and heavy rains wreaked havoc across Punjab, killing three people and injuring dozens more.
In Wazirabad, a wall collapse killed a girl and seriously injured her mother, while a motorcyclist was killed on the spot after colliding with a green belt due to strong winds.
Three children in Shakargarh were seriously injured when a wall of their home on Chamal Road collapsed due to strong winds. The injured children were transported to a hospital, where two of them are said to be critical.
Eight people were injured in Sialkot, Pasrur, and Daska as a result of strong winds, including two children and women.
More than a dozen people were injured in various storm-related incidents in Bhera’s Chak Mubarak, Hajka, and Fatehgarh areas.
In Sheikhupura, a man named Bashir was killed by a lightning strike while working in the fields.
