RAWALPINI – Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), stated that there is severe and transparent accountability inside the army, which is a constant process.
The remarks came as the army arrested former spymaster Lt Gen retired Faiz Hameed in the Top City scandal and filed court-martial charges against him.
During his press briefing on May 7, 2024, the DG ISPR went into detail about army accountability. He stated that there is no discrimination when it comes to accountability.
With tremendous power comes great responsibility, according to the military spokeswoman, who also stated that the accountability procedure is harsher in this circumstance.
“We’re proud of our accountability system. “Our accountability process is based on facts, not allegations,” he explained.
