The IPL Finale between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, popularly known as Chepauk Stadium, is bringing back memories for fans. It was the same stadium where KKR overcame the Chennai Super Kings and won. Check out the photos from then and now submitted by fans on X. Throwback photo of Suhana, Ananya, and Shanaya
In the first photo uploaded by a fan on X, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Chunkey Panday were seen smiling alongside Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor. Suhana was shy and stood behind Hruthik, while Ananya was observed wearing spectacles.
The second photo was shot during Sunday’s last match at Chepauk Stadium, where the three girls were once again cheering on their favorite team. While Suhana wore KKR’s purple jersey, Shanaya and Ananya chose matching white shirts.
The fan shared both photographs side by side with the caption, “2012 IPL Final at Chepauk. The 2024 IPL Final will be held at Chepauk. Ananya (handshake emoji) Suhana (handshake emoji) Shanaya.
Shah Rukh at the stadium
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are also there at Chepauk Stadium to support KKR. Shah Rukh made his first public appearance since being released from the hospital, during the IPL finals in Chennai. He was spotted wearing a mask.
Shah Rukh was hospitalised in Ahmedabad on Wednesday of last week due to dehydration and heat stroke. The actor was there to see the IPL match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He returned to Mumbai on Thursday. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, shared it and added, “To all of Mr Khan’s followers and well-wishers: he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers, and concern (folded hands emoji).
