Karachi – The Sindh government intends to make Karachi a safe city, allocating Rs3 billion for the initiative.
Sindh Interior Minister Zia Linjar stated that the first phase of the Safe City project would be completed in 12 months.
He stated that the project would progressively be expanded to include the province’s other cities, thereby improving the peace and order situation.

When asked about police performance, he stated that the department was doing better and that all attempts will be made to enhance the peace and order situation.
