Shah Rukh Khan, Sons To Dub 'Mufasa: The Lion King'
Web Desk: Prepare to behold a cinematic spectacle as Bollywood’s reigning king, Shah Rukh Khan, collaborates alongside his kids, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, on the Hindi adaptation of Disney’s highly anticipated blockbuster, Mufasa: The Lion King.
The film is set to hit Indian screens on December 20. The latest installment in the Lion King tale, directed by Barry Jenkins, delves into the beginnings of Mufasa, the fabled lion that has captured hearts for decades.
Disney Films India posted the Hindi trailer for the upcoming flick on its official social media handles.
“The monarch @iamsrk returns as Mufasa, with #AryanKhan and #AbRamKhan at his side. The caption said, “Mufasa: The Lion King is in theaters on December 20th.”
Shah Rukh Khan reprises his renowned role as Mufasa, a character who has come to represent regal authority and wisdom.
Simba, Mufasa’s son, will be voiced by Aryan Khan, while the youngest Khan, AbRam, will play Young Mufasa.
In a news release distributed by the Disney team, Khan stated, “Mufasa has an incredible legacy and stands as the ultimate king of the jungle, imparting his wisdom to his son, Simba.”
I personally relate to him as a father, and I also identify with Mufasa’s journey in the film. Mufasa: The Lion King chronicles Mufasa’s journey from childhood to his ascent to become an amazing king, and revisiting this character has been fantastic.”
“It’s a special collaboration for me with Disney, particularly because my sons, Aryan and AbRam, are part of this journey, and sharing this experience with them is truly meaningful,” according to him.
The film, which incorporates lifelike CGI and live-action techniques, dives into Mufasa’s backstory, depicting his ascent from an orphaned cub to the renowned monarch of the Pride Lands.
The story includes a cast of new and beloved characters, bolstered by the skills of Lin-Manuel Miranda, who provided original songs for the soundtrack.
