LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz remarked on Friday that the Supreme Court ruling (on reserved seats) was an attempt to cause instability in the country.
During her speech at the opening ceremony of the Township model bazaar’s upgrade, Maryam made these statements in reference to the Supreme Court ruling that allowed the PTI to have reserved seats.
“PERSON SITTING IN ADIALA JAIL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COUNTRY’S DESTRUCTION”
The leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) claimed that the Supreme Court’s decision benefited one party and portrayed it as innocent, despite the fact that it resulted in anarchy.
“A group of some individuals creates instability and takes the country towards destruction whenever the country progresses,” according to Maryam. Umar Atta Bandial changed the constitution for the sake of one person, and the PTI was handed an easy victory.
Maryam criticised PTI founder Imran Khan for “disturbing peace and order”.
She boasted that the PML-N government set a record for governance in three terms, whereas a person with only four years in office contributed to destruction.
The PML-N leader blamed the PTI for the burden of loans on the poor, claiming that the PTI founder reactivated the IMF loan plan that Nawaz Sharif had said farewell to during his last tenure.
She asked Supreme Court judges to let the country run while they tried to bring back the person who was guilty of crimes against the nation.
She cautioned about the implications of disrupting law and order and development. “These conspiracies will not work and our government will complete five years of its term and whoever tries to take law into hand, will be dealt with an iron hand.”
Model bazaar in every district.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the establishment of model bazaars in all districts of the province. During the event for the Township model bazaar upgrade, she praised MNA Afzal Khokhar for creating a wonderful facility for the people.
She indicated that the “model bazaar is a model to facilitate and provide comfort to the public.” She added that grocery supplies would be delivered to people’s doorsteps for free with a single phone call and app order.
She stated that women have praised the model bazaars, which offer critical things at even lower prices than DC.
CM Maryam further stated that land had been donated to create model bazaars in cities without such amenities. She vowed to set up model bazaars in all districts of Punjab.
She also vowed to improve the existing model bazaars to better serve the public. “Public relief is my foremost priority,” she told reporters.
LAHORE MODEL BAZAARS
Model bazaars have been formed in certain Punjab areas, offering necessary and daily-use commodities at reduced prices. These facilities are intended to provide a dignified shopping atmosphere for the have-nots.
Model bazaars have been established at Lahore’s provincial capital, China Scheme, Chuhng, Harbanspura, Mian Plaza Johar Town, Raiwind, Sabzazaar, Sher Shah Colony, Thokar Niaz Baig, Township, and Wahdat Colony.
Free Solar Panels
She also stated that the government would undertake the largest solar project in Pakistan’s history. “Consumers using up to 200 units of electricity will get free solar systems while consumers utilising 200 to 500 units will be provided solar systems on five-year installments,” she informed us.
‘My mission is to serve.’
The Punjab chief minister emphasized that her top objective was to provide people with basic necessities at reasonable prices.
She emphasized that she monitored the pricing of daily things on placed screens in her chamber, and that her administration was working around the clock to bring relief.
She chastised the previous government for destroying the economy.
She praised law enforcement agencies, rescue personnel, and administrations for upholding law and order and assisting civilians throughout Muharram. For the first time, internet and cellphone connections were not suspended, and drones were used to monitor processions and gatherings in Ashura, she said.
