‘There will be no more filming of RHONJ for the remainder,’ as production on the popular reality show could be halted until 2025.
Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers may have to wait longer than expected for their next dose of Jersey drama. Rumour has it that production on the show may be halted until 2025 as producers anticipate a huge makeover. The move comes as the franchise seeks to reignite interest and change up the long-running series in order to compete with major players. The season 14 finale will premiere on Bravo on August 4.
RHONJ will reportedly discontinue filming after season 14.
According to the Daily Mail, the Real Housewives of New Jersey are taking a long sabbatical. After the season 14 finale and a one-of-a-kind reunion aired back-to-back, the show is expected to go on hiatus. This is not surprising given the continual cast changes in the other Housewives franchises. It looks like Bravo and Andy Cohen have chosen to reboot the Garden State series.

A source told the Mail that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is taking a break. “There are not going to be any decisions about what will or won’t happen with the show until early next year,” they informed us.
RHONJ season 15 filming ‘on ice’
According to the article, production on the second installment would most likely begin in 2025. “There will be no further filming of ‘RHONJ’ for the balance of the year. There is nothing planned. “It’s on ice,” the person added.
The latest season of RHONJ did not exactly set the ratings on fire. The episode, which was filmed last fall, reached a new low in terms of viewership. It appears that fans were becoming bored of the same old controversy. A caller on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show complained that the narratives were “boring to death.”

“Well, I mean, have you heard that we’re gonna do big changes to the show?” Cohen told the irate caller, according to ET. “All right, so we’re rebooting the program; thank you, Joanne. We’re going to reboot it. “We’re going to do something different,” he explained.
What’s new about the reboot?
Andy Cohen may be hinting at a significant shift in the Real Housewives of New Jersey ensemble when the show returns. However, someone told Mail that a whole new cast is still a long way off. Bravo isn’t in a hurry to cast, and the show won’t likely premiere until next year.
Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda are among the current cast members, along with pals Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.
“Some cast members are less likely to return than others based on the events of the prior season. However, for two or three cast members, it may be over for good,” the source stated.
