Ranvir Shorey on losing Bigg Boss OTT 3 trophy to Sana Makbul: ‘That’s how life is’

Ranvir Shorey, who finished as the second runner-up on Bigg Boss OTT 3, spoke about his hard journey through the reality program.


As Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 came to a conclusion, Ranvir Shorey, the program’s second runner-up, revealed his thoughts on his grueling journey through the reality show. Hosted by Bollywood icon Anil Kapoor, the season concluded with TV actor Sana Makbul emerging as the victor, with rapper Naezy coming in second place. In an emotional post-eviction interview with ANI, Ranvir Shorey shared his thoughts on the competition and his experiences. “I went from top five to top three. That’s enough),” he said, admitting his tremendous progress on the show.

Shorey went on to address the nature of the game, saying, “The one who gets Bigg Boss’ favor and the most votes wins – that’s how life works.” Shorey acknowledged, reflecting on the trials of participating in Bigg Boss OTT 3, that “staying away from family for 42 days and living with 15 strangers away from the outside world was very challenging.”

He described the event as “very tough,” emphasizing the hardships he encountered while confined to the residence. Despite the demanding environment, Shorey gained great knowledge and experiences. “I’ve made memories that will stay with me forever. “The problems inside the house make it a very difficult experience,” he explained. His participation on the show also resulted in major personal growth, as he stated, “I’ve learned a lot, gained experience, and created lasting memories.”

Shorey developed close relationships with numerous housemates during the season, notably Armaan Malik, Deepak Chaurasia, and Kritika Malik. However, he also had disagreements with other candidates, stating, “I had good bonds with many people, but not with everyone.” Conflicts arose with Sana Makbul, Lavkesh, Vishal, and Shivani.

Shorey expressed gratitude to the crowd for their support, particularly given his absence from social media. “Reaching the top 3 is entirely due to the audience’s support,” said the coach.

Looking ahead, Shorey underlined his core goals outside reality TV. “My primary goal is not to win a reality program; rather, it is to pursue filmmaking and performing. I’m coming out after 42 days, and I hope to confront new challenges,” he explained.

He also previewed a new project, Shekhar Home, which will air on JioCinema and star Kay Kay Menon.
