Ranvir Shorey on Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana Makbul’s win: ‘It’s all a big mess…’

Ranvir Shorey lost the trophy to Sana Makbul, and Naezy became the first runner-up on Bigg Boss OTT 3. The actor placed in the top three.


The Bigg Boss OTT 3 grand finale took place in Mumbai on Friday, with actor Sana Makbul emerging as the winner. She defeated actor Ranvir Shorey and rapper Naved Shaikh (aka Naezy) to win the trophy and a cash reward of ₹25 lakh. The reality program featured tough competition between Sana and Ranvir, which the latter highlighted in an interview with India Today while reflecting on his Bigg Boss OTT 3 adventure. ‘Quite a roller coaster trip.’
Ranvir stated, “It was an intense sensation, like a roller coaster ride. The show takes you through emotions that distort the reality of who you are or who others are. It’s a tremendous mess, but you learn a lot about yourself and other people. I tried to make the most of what I had.

Ranvir said that Sana did not deserve to win the event hosted by actor Anil Kapoor, adding

“The show has been unpredictable. Not only did she win, but there were numerous eliminations before to that. However, it all comes down to what and how Bigg Boss wants you to play, as well as votes and followers. So, one must respect that.”

Earlier, in an interview with ANI following the Bigg Boss OTT 3 grand finale, Ranvir stated, “Reaching the top three is completely thanks to the audience’s love… my fundamental desire is not to win a reality show; it is to make films and act. I’m coming out after 42 days and hoping to tackle new difficulties.

He also previewed a new project, Shekhar Home, which will air on JioCinema and star Kay Kay Menon. Shekhar Home premieres on August 14, 2024.
