Raayan box office collection day 3: Dhanush celebrated his birthday on Sunday and thanked fans for their ‘blockbuster’ gifts in a message. Raayan, which he both starred and acted in, grossed ₹42.65 crore in India during its debut weekend, according to sacnilk.com. According to the website, the picture collected ₹13.65 crore on its opening day in the country. On Saturday, collections increased 0.73% to ₹13.75 crore. On Sunday, it experienced a 10.91% increase and earned ₹15.25 crore, totaling ₹42.65 crore in three days. The website reported that the film earned ₹33.75 crore in Tamil Nadu alone. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ranked second, earning ₹5.65 crore, while Karnataka earned ₹5.45 crore.

Dhanush’s directorial debut, Pa Paandi, was released in 2017. He will soon direct a romantic comedy titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, starring Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. The film was going to be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and starred Dhanush.
He borrowed the script and revived it in 2023.
The actor will soon star in Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna, and Jim Sarbh.
