LAHORE – The Punjab Assembly’s budget session will be place today (Monday), and the agenda has already been announced.
The Punjab Assembly session is expected to begin at 2:00 PM, with finance minister Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman presenting the budget for the next three months.
According to sources, the house will also approve the budget that has already been used during the last eight months.
The house passed the budget for the current month at its February session.

Previously, the Punjab Assembly opted not to adopt the provincial budget for the remaining three months of fiscal year 2023-24.
The parliamentarians stated that they would propose the budget and discuss it on March 18. The agenda for the assembly session was released.
