LAHORE – The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted bail extensions to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leaders Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry, and Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed in four May 9 cases.
On Friday, the Lahore ATC heard the case of PTI leaders’ bails in four cases arising from May 9.
The case did not proceed today because ATC Judge Arshad Javed was on leave.
The court has adjourned the case hearing until June 12 by extending the bails of PTI leaders.
It is worth noting that on May 9, cases were filed against accused PTI leaders at the Gulberg, Model Town, and Naseerabad police stations.
On Thursday, PTI leaders Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and others granted an extension to interim bail in the vandalism case.
