ISLAMABAD –Amir Masood Mughal, head of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), has been granted post-arrest bail by the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra of the ATC awarded the bail against a surety bond of Rs. 50,000.
The police filed the record to the court, and the prosecutor briefed the court about the matter.
Accused Amir Mughal’s counsel, Ali Bukhari Advocate, arrived in court. Following both parties’ submissions, the court approved Amir Mughal’s post-arrest bail.
It is worth noting that the CDA and police have sealed the PTI central secretariat located at Sector G8/4 in Islamabad for violating by-building laws.

Amir Mughal, the PTI leader, was detained for resisting the demolition operation and for attacking police and CDA personnel.
A case was filed against him in Karachi Company Police Station under the ATA provisions.
