LAHORE– Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari claimed on Saturday that the PTI has another May 9-like plan in the works and that a committee should be constituted to investigate why PTI founder chairman Imran Khan “is doing all this” against national institutions and the country.
“Does he want to do politics or is there something else on his agenda?” she said, adding that chaos and violence were in the PTI’s genes, and that the party not only carried out the May 9 violence but also wrote letters to the IMF to delay the discussions between the two sides.

Addressing a news conference, Bokhari stated that the tweet [the post on X, which was formerly known as Twitter] eulogizing Sheikh Mujibur Rehman remained the pinned post on Imran’s X account, rejecting claims that the PTI founder and his party had nothing to do with it.
Zain Qureshi of the PTI stated on a TV channel the other day that nothing was posted on Imran’s X account without his consent, and Naeem Haider Panjutha claimed that their leader had thanked the social media team, Bokhari reminded the reporters.
Another PTI politician, Raoof Hassan, discussed bringing the provinces into conflict with one another, adding that partitioning the country was part of their party’s strategy.
The provincial minister stated that a coordinated campaign had been begun against state institutions and questioned why Imran did not mention the Hamoodur Rehman Commission Report while in power.
“Has the Hamoodur Rehman Commission Report appeared a week ago?” she inquired, questioning the timing and motivations behind this effort. According to the Punjab minister, the institutions made mistakes but moved on after accepting them.
The PML-N leader stated that a particular party [PTI] is participating in “digital terrorism,” reflecting the Pakistan Army’s sentiments made at a recent Formation Commanders Conference.
