LAHORE -The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)-led government has determined to provide greatest relief to the masses in the upcoming budget.
A three-hour meeting was conducted at Jati Umra, chaired by PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, to approve budget plans in light of the country’s current inflation rate.
The party leadership was briefed on the three-point agenda at the meeting.
The meeting also included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Petroleum Minister Dr Musadiq Malik, Energy Minister Sardar Awais Laghari, Industries Minister Rana Tanveer, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.
The conference also included Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, and federal and provincial officials.
According to insiders, ideas were made during the marathon discussion to provide the most relief to individuals within the budget.

The federal ministers and concerned secretaries updated the attendees on the potential relief for the masses in the budget.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz assured that the province administration would provide aid to the people.
Former three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also directed the officials based on his extensive political and administrative experience.
The conference was conducted a day after Nawaz Sharif resumed leadership of the party after nearly seven years.
