ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urged the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and related agencies on Monday to take all necessary precautions to protect inhabitants in Bahawalpur, Lodhran, and surrounding districts from severe rains and floods.
He stated that protective measures should be implemented in endangered places.
“In case of emergency if there is a need timely evacuation of citizens should be ensured,” according to him.
The prime minister stated that flood-affected districts should receive quick relief, assistance, and supplies of critical products.
