RIYADH – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Hajj aircraft PK 839 made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh.
The aircraft made an emergency landing at Jeddah Airport due to a high temperature warning in the cargo cabin.
Passengers from the Boeing 777 were sent to the lounge at Riyadh International Airport.
The Hajj flight heading for Jeddah took off from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi late Friday night.
However, upon inspection, it was discovered that the high temperature warning was incorrect.
Afterward, the flight heading for Jeddah took off.
