Karachi – The Pakistan Navy has sent Naval Warship PNS ASLAT to conduct a regional maritime security patrol in the Indian Ocean.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the PNS ASLAT will use dedicated helicopters to secure the safety of commerce ships entering and exiting Pakistani ports.
The deployment of PNS ASLAT aims to ensure the safety of international shipping.

During the deployment, the Pakistan Navy Ship will engage in combined operations with friendly and partner countries, in addition to its own missions.
The PNS ASLAT will also make visits to regional ports in accordance with marine diplomacy principles.
This ship is outfitted with cutting-edge weapons and sensors, allowing it to deal with multidimensional threats and carry out a variety of maritime activities.
