LAHORE – Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar, alleged on Wednesday that Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan was abusing his constitutional rights.
During a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, the opposition leader criticized Malik Ahmad Khan for closing the opposition chambers of the Punjab Assembly.
He also chastised the speaker for buying cars for Rs180 million.
“No PTI MPA went to collect TADA. Our eleven members were suspended without warning. “Ours is a political party, and I can’t run alone in the assembly,” he explained.
He also cautioned the government of going to court against the PTI’s witch-hunt powers, claims Bhachar.
