Suniel Shetty gave his Versova mansion to famous casting director Mukesh Chhabra after the latter cast his daughter Athiya Shetty in her debut film Hero.
Mukesh Chhabra is currently a highly regarded casting director. However, few people are aware that Suneil Shetty is responsible for a significant portion of his accomplishments. Mukesh recounted in a discussion on the YouTube channel BHARTI TV how Suniel helped him set up his former office. What Mukesh Said
“When I first started out as a casting director, Suniel Shetty, who is one of the nicest people in Mumbai, owned a home in Aram Nagar named 160. At the time, I was working on a film with his daughter Athiya Shetty, Hero. So he told me, “Why are you working in such a small office? Take my bungalow in Aram Nagar.” I mentioned that I’m under a lot of strain. So he replied don’t worry, just keep up the good work. That man does not tell anyone about his wonderful actions. He offered me a large bungalow in Aram Nagar. He said, “Don’t worry about the rent.” “You’ve done so much for my daughter; simply take this bungalow,” Mukesh said.
“I started working there, decorated the new office, designed a new logo, and inaugurated the office. When I did the inaugural, many actors attended, including Rajkummar Rao. I collaborated with my close pals to build the company. We gradually expanded to include offices in Chandigarh, Delhi, and London.”
Athiya’s debut film
Athiya made her Bollywood debut in Nikkhil Advani’s 2015 love drama Hero, opposite Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi. She has since acted in other films, including Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor. She is now married to cricketer KL Rahul.
Ahan Shetty, Athiya’s brother, made his Bollywood debut in Milan Luthria’s 2021 romantic action flick Tadap. Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty will next appear in Ahmed Khan’s adventure comedy Welcome to the Jungle.
Mukesh Chhabra has cast blockbusters like Dangal and globally known series like Sacred Games. Dil Bechara, the swan song of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, marked his directorial debut.
