LAHORE – The security audit of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Jati Umra house revealed some gaps.
The chief minister’s mansion will now have better and more robust security thanks to a decision made by the Punjab IGP to buy cutting-edge machinery.
The Punjab government has been asked to provide the IGP with Rs149.1 million so that security equipment can be installed and purchased.
To increase security and make it unbreakable, barbed wire, generators, poles, CCTV cameras, LED lights, and other security equipment will be employed.
According to police sources, equipment would be bought as soon as possible to increase security. To strengthen the protection of the other homes, the police have made financial demands.
Additionally, contracts will be established via releasing tenders for the purchase of products.
