Karachi – The matriculation examination, which had been postponed for a week owing to extreme heat from May 21 to 27, resumed in Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Karachi, 160,842 students from grade 10 [Science Group] and more than 16,000 students from grade 9 [General Group] are sitting the exam.
Today, students in grade 10 in the Science Group are taking the Sindhi paper in the morning shift, while students in grade 9 in the General Group will take either the optional paper of Geometrical and Technical Drawing or Modern and Art Drawing in the afternoon.
A total of 505 exam centers have been setup.
