On Wednesday, Aparna Das and Deepak Parambol, the actor from Manjummel Boys, married in a modest ceremony in Kerala’s Guruvayur temple. The couple’s wedding photographer published official images and footage of the ceremony. Deepak wore a silk dhoti, while Aparna opted for a traditional Kasavu saree from Kerala with a green blouse. The stars dated for a while before getting married. In their formal wedding video, the Malayalam stars conducted Hindu rituals and traditions. They also greeted the media following the wedding.

Chidambaram wrote and directed the Malayalam survival thriller Manjummel Boys, in which Deepak just appeared. The film, starring Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S Poduval, Lal Jr, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Shebin Benson, and Vishnu Reghu, is based on a true story from 2006. The film follows a group of friends from a tiny village called Manjummel near Kochi who decide to take a vacation in Kodaikanal.
