(Web Desk) – Senator Barrister Ali Zafar claimed on Wednesday that the attorneys who attacked Khawar Maneka on the sessions court grounds in Islamabad had no ties to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
In an interview with a private news channel, the PTI leader stated that the licences of those engaged in the event should be withdrawn, and that no lawyer had the authority to lay hands on anyone.
PTI lawyers assaulted Khawar Maneka on the premises of Islamabad’s District and Sessions Court on Wednesday, during the hearing of the illegal marriage case involving PTI founder Imran Khan and Maneka’s previous spouse, Bushra Bibi.
Senator Zafar also refuted speculations of a possible deal between the PTI and the military establishment, stating that no such arrangement existed or would be formed.
