Khalilur Rehman Thinks There Is An Objective Behind The Drama Serial 'Barzakh'
Web Desk: Playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar commented on the drama series ‘Barzakh’, stating that efforts are being made to persuade society to accept homosexuality through such dramas and films.
On a TV show, the eminent writer and director stated, “There is an agenda behind such movies; we are going the wrong way; we should do welfare work for our intersex community rather than falling prey to this Western agenda; they are essentially demanding its acceptance in our society,” he said.
During the episode, Khalilur Rehman Qamar discussed a variety of topics, including the recent Barzakh conflict. He also discussed Maria B’s great cause.
Speaking of Maria B, he stated, “I am standing with her in this cause; she is a true woman who has worked hard to preserve our religious and social structures and traditions.
“I congratulate her; there is an objective behind such films; we are going the wrong way; we should conduct charity work for our intersex group rather than succumb to this Western agenda; they are essentially demanding recognition in our society.
“I am unhappy for the people who have become tools in this, including actors, writers, and directors. I stated what I had to say about this: Maria B is doing her job, and I support her.
“I support her. She is correct about homosexuality in the media industry; she is an honest person, and all of her facts may be correct.”
