What Kareena Said
During the interview, Kareena was reminded that she is one of the few female performers who earn ₹10-15 crores. She said, “I hope so!” That’s what I desire! I believe that the films I chose are not motivated by money, rather than my acting abilities. It’s always been about the possibility that if I like a role, I’ll do the picture for less. My decision is influenced by my mood, the film, and the role offered. I am at the point where I believe I can deliver. Of course, if it’s a big-budget commercial film, whatever you suggest might be less! This is my husband’s home. I’m suffering during this interview. (laughs)”
Kareena discussed returning with Ajay Devgn for her upcoming film Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. She stated, “I have been really lucky to have worked with Ajay on numerous occasions and knowing him for many years, even before I became an actress. He is an excellent actor and person. He is one actor with whom I consider to be close friends. We truly enjoy working on a film together. We’ve been pals and known one other for 25-30 years. He understands the balance in cinema… The story should play the part. “He has so much experience.”
Kareena was last seen in Crew, which starred Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She will reprise her role in Singham Again, the third installment of the Singham franchise, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone. Singham Again is set to be released on November 1, 2024.
Before Singham Again, Kareena will appear in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, which is set to hit theaters on September 13.
