ISLAMABAD -The Islamabad High Court has ordered the authorities to find Shehbaz Gill’s missing brother by August 6 and present him in court.
Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the plea for the return of Shahbaz Gill’s brother Ghulam Shabbir.
Justice Aurangzeb directed that today’s court ruling be delivered to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and that Shehbaz Gill’s kidnapped brother be retrieved and produced in court by August 6.
The court asked the high court registrar to ensure that the court order was delivered to the prime minister’s principal secretary.
Justice Aurangzeb stated, “A hazardous situation arises when the institutions say they do not know where the person is.”
The petitioner’s lawyer stated that Shehbaz Gill posted vlogs in support of PTI founder Imran Khan.
“Shehbaz Gill has been informed by agencies that his brother is in their custody. “Shehbaz Gill was also told to stop making vlogs in support of Imran Khan,” the lawyer stated.
Justice Aurangzeb noted that the Ministry of Defence had the bravery to investigate these problems.
“Now if we give a strict order, then action against judges will start,” he told us.
The court stated that the application was filed ten days ago, and what has the government done thus far?
“The order that I will issue today should be submitted to the prime minister. It is pointless to speak to the IG; what can a minister do? “They are defaming the country,” Justice Aurangzeb said.
According to state lawyer Abdul Rahman, the hostage was not in their hands, based on agency reports.
The Deputy Attorney General stated that the ISI reported that the hostage was not with them, despite the MI’s request for some time.
Justice Aurangzeb stated that the home secretary should also be informed of Friday’s court proceedings.
The court told a representative of the Ministry of Interior, “Tell Khurram Agha to look into this case seriously.”
“The hostage will be released after making a guarantee, but what are you doing with the country? And if information about my holdings are requested, I will offer them.”
Later, the court deferred the hearing to August 6.
