Web Desk: Acclaimed playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is devastated because he did not receive the assistance he expected following the honey trap event, and he is considering leaving the country.
In an interview, he revealed his kidnapping ordeal and how it has prompted him to take drastic measures.
He added that the experience has prompted him to explore something he never imagined: leaving Pakistan permanently.
Khalil replied, “I have begun to question the earth I have loved with all my heart; should I even continue to stay here?
“Such thoughts never came into my mind before.”
He was also disappointed by the lack of support from his contemporaries in the entertainment world.

He observed that many he formerly called friends had gone silent during this difficult period.
He revealed, “I don’t have any friends.” It was a deception to say they were my buddies.
“I never admitted it before, but they are. But now they’ve proven that they’re not.
Reflecting on his views about Pakistan, Khalil confessed that, if given the opportunity, he might choose not to be born here.
He told me, “I would prefer being born in a place where people don’t disrespect me like this.”
