ISLAMABAD –Omar Ayub, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claimed that the hybrid system had undermined the state’s very foundation.
Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC), he stated that he would pursue the FIA notices issue in parliament and court. He stated that he would file a contempt of court petition against the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for failing to unseal the PTI secretariat in Islamabad despite the IHC order.
He stated that the Islamabad administration had assigned the venue ‘Rawat’ for the PTI’s public gathering, which was 30 kilometres away. He added that the nain Srinagar Highway should be made available to the party for public gatherings.
He once again highlighted the plight of PTI leaders Aliya Hamza and Sanam Javed in prison. He claimed the jail SP expressed his inability to release the two women.
“Is it the banana republic? “We do not accept this regime, and this hybrid system is destroying Pakistan’s foundation,” he said.
