WhatsApp, Meta’s famous instant messaging program, includes a function that allows users to utilize the platform without an active internet connection.
This innovation corresponds with the release of proxy technology, which allows users to connect to WhatsApp via servers set up by volunteers and organisations dedicated to promoting free expression throughout the world.
Proxy technique for offline access.

A step ahead in connectivity
WhatsApp has over 2 billion users worldwide, and its new proxy support function assures that people can stay connected even when their country’s internet is down. Proxy servers allow users to circumvent internet restrictions and communicate with friends and family.
This project demonstrates WhatsApp’s dedication to promoting communication around the world, especially in areas where free speech and connectivity are under danger.
