HARNAI – The bodies of eight miners were found in a coal mine near Harnai, Balochistan province.
A gas explosion in the coal mine trapped at least 18 men underground yesterday.
The incident occurred in the Zardallu area in Harnai, where a portion of a coal mine collapsed following the explosion, trapping ten men underneath.

After learning about the event, eight miners went inside for assistance, but they were also trapped in the mine.
According to the Chief Mines Inspector, eight miners were rescued from the mine, and efforts are on to save others.

Two teams are participating in the rescue operation at a depth of 1000 feet.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti took notice of the event and asked officials to speed up the operation.
