ISLAMABAD – Shiza Fatima, Minister of State, emphasized the importance of making tough decisions to guide Pakistan back on the path of growth.
Speaking before the media alongside party officials, she claimed that the country would improve under Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership. She also mentioned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s effective handling of obstacles between 2013 and 2017, when Pakistan experienced tremendous economic development.
With the help of the IMF, Sharif’s administration was able to pull the country out of its financial crisis.
Speaking about Shahbaz Sharif’s time as Prime Minister in 2022, she lauded his efforts to stabilize the country in 16 months. She said that he avoided an approaching problem.
She emphasized the necessity of addressing unemployment, pay inequities, and youth education, stating that without them, national progress would be hampered. She urged citizens to unite, arguing that despite disagreements, joint efforts are required for national progress.
PML-N leader Rana Mashhood praised Nawaz Sharif’s achievements in combating terrorism and reducing power shedding during his tenure. He also blamed his disqualification in 2017 on bogus accusations.
Mashhood complained that there was no project on the previous government’s credit. He also discussed the Donald Lu hearings and a letter to the IMF sent by A party.
