April will see actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and Aamir Khan spend a lot of time in the Capital to shoot their forthcoming flicks.
Ayushmann Khurrana, Aamir Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Naseeruddin Shah are among the Bollywood stars who will shortly be shooting in Delhi on an extended schedule. According to a source, Khurrana will arrive in Delhi next month to shoot his untitled next film and would stay for almost 40 days. Khan, on the other hand, will be in Delhi filming a significant section of his film Sitare Zameen Par. Massey and Shah are also slated to travel to the capital to film their respective projects.
According to a source, Khurrana will travel to Delhi in April for a shoot schedule for his yet-to-be-titled picture, and he will stay for around 40 days. When it comes to Khan, it is believed that he is visiting the city to film a significant section of Sitare Zameen Par, which is comparable to his 2007 feature.
“Khurrana is coming to shoot his next film in April. While nothing is known about his film, it is described as a romantic comedy. The name of the starring lady has yet to be determined, but he will be accompanied by her throughout the filming schedule, according to an insider.
The actor will travel throughout the city to capture the various shades and moods of the city for the film. There will be a historical component with shoots scheduled at several landmarks ranging from the Red Fort to the Qutub Minar. The rush and bustle of the city will be represented by moving the camera around several market areas in Delhi, with a specific emphasis on the city’s greenery, “as the team has planned elaborate shoots in several gardens of Delhi as well”.
“The entire team realizes that they are coming to Delhi to shoot in the beginning of the summer season, and they are preparing accordingly. They will travel with portable air conditioners and coolers. In reality, they intend to film in the morning or evening to avoid the harsh sun,” says the insider, adding, “The casting is already underway, and it will soon be obvious who will accompany Khurrana on the shoot.”
Khan, on the other hand, intends to visit the city only in April, “and will be shooting extensively in the city, covering various locations”.
“He was supposed to come to Delhi in February to film for his next project, Champion. However, he has decided to begin his film, Sitare Zameen Par, first and then focus on Champion, which is supposed to herald Khan’s return from his hiatus following the collapse of his movie, Laal Singh Chaddha,” says the insider.
Champion is a story about the human spirit in which he plays the role of mentor. It is being led by RS Prasanna.
Last year, multiple movies were shot in Delhi, with stars such as Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sonu Sood, Sidharth Malhotra, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor taking the lead.
After the film, Khan is anticipated to return to the city soon to begin filming Champions. Previously we reported that
Vikrant Massey and Naseeruddin Shah are also slated to visit the national capital to shoot their respective projects. They are coming for a variety of projects, and the filming schedule is short.
