ISLAMABAD – On Monday, a massive fire broke out again in Margalla Hills, Islamabad. The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) firefighters returned to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Earlier, Romina Khurshid Alam, the Prime Minister’s Climate Change Coordinator, reported that the fire had been extinguished.
“The operation to extinguish the fire has been successfully completed with the support of the Pakistan Army and the NDMA,” Romina Khurshid Alam stated.
About four hours ago, a fire broke out at three distinct locations in Margalla Hills.
Strong gusts in the federal capital posed significant challenges for firemen.

Meanwhile, the prime minister’s climate change coordinator requested that the NDMA provide a helicopter for the firefighting effort.
Previously, crews from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) participated in the firefighting operation.
A CDA official stated that approximately 75 firemen were actively attempting to put out the fire.
