Eight of family die as jeep plunges into ditch in Shangla

Shangla – On Monday, eight members of the same family were killed when their jeep plunged into a ditch in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla area.

According to rescue sources, the jeep was on its way to Pagorai from Bele Baba when it lost balance, culminating in the terrible tragedy.

The bodies of the deceased were then brought to the Alpuri Hospital.

Similar occurrences have occurred in the past, as the trek into and around Shangla is dangerous.

Last year, six members of the same family died in a similar scenario.
