ISLAMABAD – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) objected to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) intraparty elections.
The ECP requested a formal response from the PTI about seven objections.
The ECP objected that the PTI’s intra-party votes were not held within five years, which violated Section 208(1).
The ECP inquired about the PTI’s standing as a political party, citing a lack of organisational structure over the previous five years.
