Peshawar – On Wednesday, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed two terrorists from a banned organization during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Lakki Marwat, according to Dunya News.
According to CTD spokesperson, the law enforcement agency troops carried out an operation in Lakki Marwat during which terrorists opened fire. The CTD personnel returned the fire due to which two terrorists were killed.
The CTD official claimed that the slain terrorists were identified as Tanveer Ali and Furqan. The official added that the terrorists intended to target sensitive institutions.
The CTD officials also discovered four hand grenades, two kalashnikovs, and other weapons among the dead terrorists.
