LAHORE (Muhammad Hassan Raza)- On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a visit to the Central Jail in Kot Lakhpat and joined women detainees for iftar.
Rather than interact with visitors, she individually served samosas, fruits, and dinner to the female convicts.
She also planted a seedling on the jail’s lawn and ordered additional planting. Maryam also paid a visit to the cell where her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was detained.
