LAHORE – On May 9, 2023, miscreants burned down Jinnah House, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
CM Maryam attended the ceremony honoring the martyrs’ families at Jinnah House. She also gave them bouquets.
The chief minister stated that the state was attacked on May 9, the darkest day in the country’s history.

She refused to negotiate with people who had attacked martyrs’ memorials. She believed they deserved heavy punishment.
Maryam Nawaz said that everyone saw the arsonists. She claimed that terrorists trained these people for the attack. She stated that she had met the families of the martyrs. She claimed that meeting the martyrs’ heirs brought tears to her eyes.
The chief minister further stated that she wants to ask the judiciary why persons who committed treason are not punished. Why are these people getting bail?
