LAHORE – An frightening fire erupted in the woodlands of Soon Valley in District Khushab, and efforts to suppress it are ongoing.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif requested a report on the devastating fire eruption that occurred in Soon Valley’s woodlands.
The Chief Minister and Senior Provincial Minister, Marriyum Aurangzeb, paid tribute to watchman Syed Ghulam Raza for embracing martyrdom during the fire outbreak.
The Chief Minister extended her heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the watchman’s family. She remarked, “I appreciate the slain watchman for giving up his valuable life while executing his duties.
She stated that the Punjab government stands with the family members of the martyred watchman in this hour of bereavement.
CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, at the request of district administration Khushab, directed the PDMA to conduct an aerial operation to extinguish the fire. She stated that Soon Valley’s woodlands are a national asset and that all possible actions should be taken to extinguish the fire in a timely manner.
CM Maryam Naweaz Sharif urged the involved institutions to be on high alert until the fire breakout in Soon Valley was entirely contained.
