This is also the first time Pakistanis have used Instagram to celebrate August 14, while the ban on X (formerly Twitter) continues.
“I love my Pakistanis, I love our land, and I pray for a day with more peace, more infrastructure, more security, more love, more stability, and more prosperity,” singer and philanthropist Hadiqa Kiani wrote on Instagram.
“There is a lot of work to be done, and we are capable of doing it together. “I pray for our Pakistan and our people,” she said.
Malala Yousafzai, an activist, posted a photo with her family and stated, “Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis, at home and around the world.”
The Nobel laureate also hailed Pakistani Olympians, particularly Arshad Nadeem, for making their country proud. “I’d like to thank our incredible Olympians for their hard work and for reflecting Pakistan’s potential on the global arena. “Special congratulations to Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem for winning gold and setting an Olympic record.”
She continued, “My advice to Pakistan’s youth, particularly girls, is to keep working hard to attain your goals, to stay focused on school, to participate in sports, and to find ways to help your community. Together, we can steer Pakistan in a better path and create a brighter future. I hope we will continue to battle together to guarantee that all Pakistani youth, particularly girls, have equal rights and educational opportunities.”
Gold medalist Arshad Nadeem also asked the nation to celebrate Independence Day with national pride and patriotism.
Famous actor Adnan Siddiqui stated that now is the moment to “deeply appreciate the freedom and opportunities we have.”
“It’s a moment to remember the courage of those who made it possible and to reflect on how those values continue to shape our lives,” he told reporters. “I wish everyone a very happy Independence Day! “Pakistan Zindabad!”
Actor and vocalist Fakhar-e-Alam wished the nation a happy birthday.
Other well-known celebrities also wish their respective countries good success.
