Jio Cinema recently filed a complaint regarding a doctored video of Armaan and Kritika Malik that was circulating on social media.
Jio Cinema had a strong reaction to the reported intimate video of Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik from Bigg Boss OTT 3. The streaming site declared that it was a doctored film and that they will take appropriate steps to identify the individuals involved. According to ETimes, Jio Cinema has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Unit, requesting that an inquiry be conducted to identify the individual responsible for the modified footage. In its formal complaint, the OTT platform stated that “the complaint is against unknown persons for altering and doctoring the content of Bigg Boss (on OTT platforms) and streaming X, formerly known as Twitter.” The Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 (on OTT platform) is a hugely popular program aired on Jio Cinema and hosted by Mr Anil Kapoor, a notable Bollywood star.”

The complaint also stated, “The incident appears to be just the beginning, as there may be other instances of doctored videos with malicious intent that have not yet been brought to the Complainant’s attention.” The Complainant thinks that these actions are part of a well-planned criminal conspiracy intended to disrupt the program and slander the Complainant Company. The perpetrators of this conspiracy attempted to harm the integrity and reputation of both the show and the Complainant Company by circulating false and defamatory content.”
Shiv Sena MLA calls for action over Armaan Malik video.
In an interview with ANI, Shiv Sena Secretary and Spokesperson MLA Dr Manisha Kayande slammed Bigg Boss OTT 3 for promoting ‘vulgarity’. The lawmaker chastised Armaan for his alleged obscene attitude. She expressed concern that such information on reality shows may have a harmful impact on young minds. She also stated that she intends to seek that the Minister of Information and Broadcasting create legislation governing OTT platforms during the current session of Parliament.
