Peshawar – Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has convened a meeting of the province apex committee for today (Thursday) to discuss the Bannu incident.
The province apex committee meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur at 12:00 p.m. The meeting will also be attended by the Peshawar Corps commander, chief secretary, IG police, additional chief secretary interior, and other officials.
According to sources, five elders from the Bannu Jirga will attend the meeting. The government has accepted the Bannu Jirga’s demands, which will be presented to the provincial apex committee.
It is pertinent to mention here that a Jirga was held in the Chief Minister’s House during which Jirga members tabled their demands. Accepting their demands, CM gandapur decided to call a meeting of the provincial apex committee meeting.
